Recently I have been watching a Korean reality show called EXchange. This show invites five couples who have broken up to live under the same roof and to see how they are going to interact with each other’s ex.

Will they be back together or seek for a new relationship?

In the process of getting to know each other and becoming closer, there were some rules and instructions made by the tv program producers for them to follow. Well, I have to say, the tv program producers are so good at making the rules, which always make the show more exciting and interesting. For example, on the first day they met, everyone had to pretend they don’t know their exes so that they wouldn’t have a clue to guess who his or her ex is, and that they can freely talk to each other. To be honest, I couldn’t figure out the correct couple-match in the first place either since they all acted well!

What appealing to me is that the                                            chemistry between them is intriguing.                                                  Although they tried to disguise themselves                                            that they didn’t know their exes and                                                    wanted to use a fresh way to get along                                                with others, like they were totally strangers; however, some of them failed to do it. The girl, Bohyun, was the first one who couldn’t help but crying out loud and finally collapsed behind the scene of her ex because she couldn’t completely forget him. They had a conversation afterwards, and she realized that he wanted to try to go forward and get to know new friends, which really hurt her and made her heartbroken. This couple is the most distressing and torturing to the audience.

While I was watching the show, not only
did I enjoy their interactions but also learn how to
be a better one in a relationship. From the show, I
could tell why some male or female characters
were so popular that everyone wanted to talk to
them or chose them as a date. Speaking of which, my favorite guest is Coco, she was the oldest but the most mature female character. Her attitude towards love was optimistic and full of hope. Although she didn’t have much chemistry with others and get the same feeling back from whom she was quite interested in, she had a lenient heart and always gave others good advice to help them go through the bad times.

This show reminds me a lot of my own love history, no matter how good or bad it is, it is a past. All I have to do now is to learn how to love others and be loved by them as well. Hope I can meet a guy who will treat me well and love me forever.
